Kenya

With the rate of the population growth, Kenya is in deficit of almost 50,000 churches.  The impact of this deficit means, that Kenyans do not have regular access to the Word of God. They do not have the opportunity to hear about Christ’s love and respond to it. Absorb that for a moment.

Most Americans have never been without the choice to hear about God. Everyday they pass a church, many churches, which often go unnoticed. They can turn on a radio or the television and hear a sermon or a song.  They can go into a bookstore and buy a book; or better yet, go to the public library and check out Christian music or literature for free. Or, they simply can Google a free sermon or song to download.

But millions of Africans do not have this opportunity.  It is a hard poverty to grasp.

Kenya needs 50,000 more churches in order for everybody to have the opportunity to hear about Jesus.  There are still 36 unreached people groups.  Unreached defined as less than 2% Bible Believers.

While we continue to minister all over Kenya, we are now focusing our church planting efforts in one District—Narok District.  Narok needs 900 new churches. There are unchurched villages in the District.  Many people have never heard of Jesus.

Our focus is on training, coaching, and mentoring the Maasai people of Narok, to start additional churches in their villages.  Click here to read more.
