Sammy was born and raised in Kenya. He attended Bible College in Kenya then began his ministry as a youth pastor. He met Shannon at his church, in Kenya, after she volunteered to work with the youth. As Sammy says, “We had to meet, almost everyday, to talk about the youth! Then talking turned into coffee and coffee into marriage!” After serving the youth, Sammy worked as an associate pastor in Nairobi.
Shannon has lived and worked in Kenya since 2000. Her ministry in Kenya began with a Christian humanitarian organization. In 2005, she and Sammy began working with One Challenge International, developing church leaders throughout Kenya.
It was their similar vision and passion for the lost and for the Church that drew them together and that shapes their commitment in ministry today.
What We Do
Sammy and Shannon, serve as catalysts for growth and multiplication of churches all over Kenya by providing leadership and church-planting training to church leaders.
They have also been privileged to help meet some physical needs of communities where they minister. Projects they have undertaken are: goat distribution to drought-sticken families, spring construction, food relief, and education. Click here to see more.
